Josh Flynn is a lifelong conservative activist, with deep roots in the Harris County Republican Party. He currently serves as the Secretary of the Harris County Republican Party and was elected as a Trustee on the Harris County Department of Education Board in 2018, where he served as Board President. Josh has served the Party in many capacities, including as the Senate District 15 Committeeman from 2004-2012; HCRP Treasurer from 2009-2014; as well as an Election Judge from 1997-2021 among many other roles.
Josh has been happily married to his wife Joan for over 25 years, and together they have five children: Morgan, Jessica, Whitney, Keeley, and Blake; and two grandchildren, Logan and Charlotte. They are active members in their church, Living Word Church of the Nazarene.
Earlier in 2022 Josh finished his fifth Houston Marathon. He is the BSA Charter Representative for Troop 1010. As the Baritone for the Dignity Gospel Quartet, he begins his fourth recording project later in 2022.
